About our PVC Strip Curtain 

PVC Curtains Strips also known as door strip are  flexible, Clear or Semi clear  or  Red (Depending on the Grade)  PVC Curtain Strips  which are used with  Curtain Strip Hanging Brackets  and Hanging Rails.
The Strips are overlapped to create a hanging door curtain,

The Curtain strip doors are used to create barriers in various environments while allowing people,
vehicles or animals to easily pass through.
Benefits include  draft exclusion, temperature control, noise reduction and the containment of dust, fumes and insects.

Curtain Strip material comes in 4 different sizes and 3 Different Grades

Sizes

• 200mm x  2mm mainly used in doorways being accessed by people or animals,
• 300mm x 3mm is  used in doorways being accessed by Vehicles and occasionally People
• 400mm x 4mm  is used in doorways being accessed by Vehicles such as forklifts.  
• 300mm x 2mm (Welding Grade)

Material is sold by the meter or in Rolls of  25m and 50m  depending on the width of the Strip.

Grades

We carry 3 Grades of PVC Strip Curtain

• Standard or Fridge grade
  The most commonly used PVC Strip Curtain  with multiple uses and with a temperature rating from -15c to +50c
  Benefits include  draft exclusion, temperature control, noise reduction and the containment of dust, fumes and insects

       

 

 

• Freezer Grade
  Freezer Grade is Identical to Fridge grade and can be used in the same way  as the fridge grade PVC curtain strip but is  is designed to be used in Extremely cold temperatures with a Temperature Rating of -25c to  +50c

  Welding Grade 
  The PVC Curtain Strip (Welding Grade) is used as a protective barrier shielding welders and bystanders from the hazards posed by intense welding light and harmful UV rays. Allowing Welders to Work Safely minimizing the risk of exposure to welding spatter and harsh light, thus safeguarding the well-being of anyone nearby. The 2mm thick, 300mm wide strips create a durable barrier that improves safety without compromising visibility or accessibility.

  

 

 

What is the PVC Strip Curtain Made from?

Our PVC Strip Curtains are made from PVC material which is phthalate-free (and are used in conjunction with our Stainless steel brackets and rails.

 

Rails and Brackets

• Hanging Brackets
  Our Door Strip hanging brackets come as a pair of plates which are used to sandwich the PVC Strip Curtain and are then bolted or riveted  together
  this allows you to hang an individual PVC Strip and bracket onto the Stainless Steel Hanging Rail. 

• Rails
  Curtain Strip Hanging rail or hook rail is a stainless steel rail designed to hang above a door opening and to carry PVC Strip Curtain on Hanging brackets.
  The design allows the PVC Curtain  Strip and  Strip Curtain Hanging Bracket to swing freely on the hook Rail.
  The Rail comes with pre-drilled holes and comes in 1m and 0.5m lengths, and works with both  200mm , 300mm and 400mm Hanging brackets and Strips.
  All 3 sizes of door strip use the same type of rail.

 

                                     

                                                               

Overlapping

As Curtain Door Strips  perform best when overlapped we recommend  the following 
Number of  Strip Curtain Hanging Brackets per  1m Rail as a minimum

400mm Strip width – single overlap  = 3  Strip Curtain Hanging Brackets

300mm Strip width – single overlap  = 4  Strip Curtain Hanging Brackets
200mm Strip Width – single overlap = 6  Strip Curtain Hanging Brackets
