The Clonmel Covers, journey began over 35 years ago in a garden shed. Seamus the company founder, who was working as a Truck driver at the time, first ventured into the world of cover repairs out of necessity when the cover on the truck he was driving needed its cover repaired, unable to find a company to carry out the repair he decided to repair it himself ,Word quickly spread among his fellow truckers, and soon, he found himself repairing covers for his friends too. Demand for his repair services quickly grew and Seamus saw a niche in the market for reliable, long-lasting weather protection. It wasn’t long before he made the bold decision to Swap truck driving for the world of water-proof cover repair and manufacturing and so Clonmel Covers came in to being.
What started out 35 years ago as a small repair service has since grown into one of Ireland’s leading manufacturers of waterproof covers and weather protection systems. The garden shed is long gone and in its place is our own purpose-built factory
Seamus retired as managing director this year and handed over the reins to his son Eugene who has been involved in the business for most of his adult life.
Today, Our Commitment to providing exceptional service and products of the highest quality remain the same. While we continue to innovate and expand the Clonmel Covers brand our Commitment to Craftsmanship ,quality and customer satisfaction remain the same as it did on day one.
